Dan Hodgson, Executive Director | dan@eciyouth.org
Dan Hodgson is the executive director and founder of ECI Youth Services. He has been working with youth basketball since 1995 and with college-recruiting teams since 2001, beginning as Team Dakota (1 team in 2001, grew to 2 teams by 2004) and currently as ECI Select (10 teams in 2005, grew to 20 teams by 2007). He is passionate about seeing youth discover their full potential and encouraging them to step up to the challenge. He is committed to developing strong leaders and helping youth to be as successful as they can be. Dan and his wife of 30 years, Sue, live in Wahpeton, ND, and have two children, Cassie (25), and Dustin (23), a point guard for the Valley City State University Vikings.

Travis Kraft directs ECI’s basketball programs, organizes tournaments and academies, recruits players for ECI Select, and works to raise funds for ECI Athletics. A graduate of May-Port CG High School and Gatorade Player of the Year (ND), he spent two years at the University of South Carolina playing D-I basketball in the SEC. Due to injury, Travis came back to finish his college basketball career at NDSU. He is currently the Assistant Boys’ Basketball coach at D-G-F High School and believes that the game of basketball can be used to teach life lessons and develop strong values.

Trevor Schneeberger is our head basketball skills trainer and a gifted coach. He also assists Travis in planning tournaments and academies and recruits players for ECI Select. A graduate of West Central Area High School and Concordia College alum, Trevor spent three seasons as the Head Girls’ Basketball coach at Barnesville High School and is currently the Head Boys’ Basketball coach at Underwood (MN) High School. Trevor is passionate about helping to make a difference in the lives of youth and teaching them values that will help them succeed in the game of life. He loves the game and is excited to pass it on.

Joe Kittell is a talented recruiter for ECI Select, assists Travis in organizing tournaments, coaches ECI Select teams, and works to raise funds for ECI Athletics. A Garrison (ND) High School graduate and NDSU alum and current grad student, Joe is the NDSCS Assistant Men’s Basketball coach. He spent one year as an assistant at Mayville State and four years as a student assistant at NDSU under Tim Miles. Joe loves working with young people while teaching the game he loves, and his experience at the college level is especially helpful as he works with young players.

Cassie Hodgson coordinates the ECI team as they plan and execute tournaments, events, academies, and ECI Select. A graduate of Wahpeton High School and University of North Dakota alum, she works to implement the ECI business plan and develops strategies to increase the team’s efficiency. Cassie also assists Dan and produces documents and marketing materials for ECI’s programs.
ECI also employs a full seasonal staff of coaches and year-round skills trainers, as well as office and program staff.
